Update: Spiceworks 2.0 is out

The free network inventory/monitoring/help desk app, Spiceworks has been updated to version 2.0!

Here are a few of the brand spicy new features!
  • Microsoft Event Log interactive charts and event filtering.
  • Spice Meter. Learn how to fully use Spiceworks. Get your meter to 100%!
  • Product ratings and reviews for your hardware and software.
  • Graphics and charts for key network data.
  • Performance improvements in user interface and network scanning.
I've been using the beta for the past few weeks or so, and the graphics/charts feature is really cool.

I'll be posting an overview of it in the coming week...stay tuned!

For network monitoring, I'm in love with Polymon. It can monitor and alert on anything you can imagine.
Open source.

@Bob - This looks cool, I tried to install it on a test box here, but it wouldn't create the database. I'm going to wait until 1.1 is out before I try again.

Thanks for the tip! And, it will probably be featured here :)
