Some stats for 2007 and a Happy New Year wish!

Well, 2007 is done, and I thought I would list some stats on CFJ for the year.

I added Google Analytics to CFJ in May of this year, so these stats aren't totally reflective of the true stats prior to then (although I can't expect that it was all that much!). But they are reflective of when I decided to put forth more effort to CFJ. This occurred in May when I decided to start posting nearly every other day. Before that, it was once per week roughly...

Top 4 posts:
  1. 10,715 visits: Tip: Change your Windows XP key
  2. 3,146 visits: The Home Computer Freeware List
  3. 2,690 visits: CD/DVD Burning, ISO creation: CD Burner XP Pro
  4. 2,004 visits: Article: What to do if you have a pesky virus or malware?
Subscriber Feed Count (RSS)

Subscriber count was very uplifting...I started out the year with two feeds; one blogger supplied atom feed, and the other was a feedburner count. In July, Google acquired Feedburner and merged the two together (or at least gave us Blogger users the option to forward our atom subscribers to our Feedburner feeds), thus the super jump in subscriber count that month.

My RSS count went up quite a bit more in late September following a post for Spiceworks 1.7...this is when CFJ really started to become much more popular, and I noticed a surge in links in my Technorati profile.

Here's the Feedburner stat for all time (starting 2006 thru today):

Summary:

What started out as a simple blog keeping track of the stuff that I like has morphed into a much bigger entity that serves IT professionals, computer geeks and money-conscious folks alike. My desire is to expand CFJ even more in 2008, and also hope that you have enjoyed my blog this year!

If you have any suggestions on how I can make CFJ even better, please leave them in the comments!

Happy New Year to all of you and thank you for a great 2007 - here's to another awesome year of great freebies!
