Password Manager for Firefox: Secure Login

Secure Login extension for Mozilla Firefox
https://blueimp.net/mozilla/

Logging into your favorite Web 2.0 sites (OK, not just Web 2.0) can be a real struggle, what with all that remembering and stuff - - I have too many other things to think about than what my YouSpaceFlickTube account password is!

My disclaimer:
I prefer Firefox to IE for any kind of password caching, but I don't like pre-filling forms. I do however, like to use password managers for my Technorati, Feedburner, Flickr and other social sites.

Ok, in any case...on with the review :)

Secure login for Firefox!
Enter BlueImp.com's Secure Login Firefox Extension. Not only will SL help you cache your passwords, but it will support multiple login identities - making it very easy to switch logins (but still keep your cached passwords) for MySpace, GMail, etc.

Secure Login does utilize Firefox's built-in password management system, but also adds a couple nice features (like multiple identities), including some much needed security enhancements.

When the extension is installed, notice that it highlights (very similar to just about every other online password manager) the username and password field, denoting a valid login form.

You only need to login once to the website with Firefox, then allow FF to save your credentials.

Once they have been saved, SL will take over. When you come to a login page, press 'alt+N' (default key combo) to fill and submit your login credentials. Easy as that!

SL also helps protect against the Firefox password security vulnerability (which I'm unsure if this has been fixed or not...does anyone know?):

If you've ever used RoboForm, this is a pretty likable and simple/intuitive way to manage your online passwords. Even Mom would like it!
